Can’t make Montreal? Here’s how to Bring Osheaga to Toronto

The moment festival lovers have been waiting for has arrived, Osheaga 2017 has been announced and it’s looking…well…amazing. Can’t make the trek to Montreal this summer? No worries, here’s some Osheaga fun coming your way. Alabama Shakes, Muse and Lorde will be amid the headliners of the three day long festival. If you’re one of the lucky thousands you’ve got your tickets on the way and your travel plans booked. If you’re staying in the city this weekend, don’t worry. Some of the amazing acts will be stopping by Toronto before they take the stage in Quebec.

Local Natives - March 16th


The Districts - 14th
Mark this as a can’t miss show. Young legends in the making, The Districts ,stop by The Garrison in April.
Milky Chance - March 18th
The folk duo will be stopping by Lee’s Palace before their stint in Montreal.
Belle and Sebastian - July 27th


Father John Misty - May 5th
The talent with a sly and dark sense of humor will be playing Massey Hall in early May.


Arkells - June 24th

If you live in, around or near Toronto and love music this show is probably already scribbled into your calendar in red marker. Hamilton’s Arkelle’s will be playing the Budweiser Stadium with *hold your breath* July Talk in a double headlining showcase.
Bishop Brigs - May 3rd
The songstress will be heading to the MOD club on the 3rd of May and playing Wayhome for the second year.

Yukon Blonde – 2015 Performers

You voted, you decided, now we wait for the show. Thursday, massive names will pile into The Phoenix Concert centre to claim their awards at the 2015 CASBY Awards, presented by The Edge 102.1. But that’s not the only thing going down. The Zolas, Yukon Blonde  and USS are just a few of the bands that will be taking the stage for fans to put on breathtaking performances.

The Performers

There are some exciting names taking the stage! Just announced, Monster Truck will be opening the show. Amid the excitement, 2015 winners of The Edge’s Next Big Thing competition, Ivory Hours will get their chance to shine.

But I’m waiting to see Young Empires. With the recent release of their newest album, The Gates, the Toronto bound guys have showed off their new chops. And of course who isn’t excited to see one of the biggest bands in the country right now, Yukon Blonde?
