You know you’re an amazing photographer when you get a shot like this on a point and shoot. Friday, The Neighbourhood played with Bad Suns and Hunny at The Danforth and photographer Janine VanOostrom, proved how bad ass she is by shooting the show on a point and shoot. Check out the gallery from the show below.
The Neighbourhood
In the wake of releasing their new album, Wiped Out,The Neighbourhood previewed the album for fans in Toronto. Having already released a few tracks off the upcoming October 30th release, The Beach and R.I.P. 2 My Youth, fans got a chance to hear the new sound of the band live. The new singles feature more of an R&B undertone than the alternative sound heard in their 2013 album, I Love You., which featured their massively addicting hits, Sweater Weather and Afraid.
Hunny
From Southern California, Jason, Jake, Jacob, Gregory, Kevin and Joey are Hunny. Formed in 2014, the pop-rock band opened the show. The band is in the midst of a tour with a few more Canadian stops in Winnipeg at The Garrick and Vancouver.
Bad Suns
Bad Suns are another California-based band. Language & Perspective, is the band’s debut. The 11-track album is filled with danceable rock and a smooth sound that received warm welcomes from fans following the 2014 release.
