Ever wonder what goes on before the bands take the stage? Get a sneak peak with the bands of ODBF. Playing frisbee, lounging on the grass or inside trailers, most bands liked a little R&R before their sets. Here is a quick gallery of what went on behind the scenes this past weekend.

Tizz the season to get a little sexy and a liitle gritty. Thursday, Toronto’s own The Beaches and K.I.D. took on Lee’s Palace as part of the Edge’s Jingle Bell Series. Here’s a small taste of what happened, below.
They came and filled the venue with head-banging, while giving their all. The all women-band, played a set full of energy that infused the crowd. Catchy rock and a hypnotic set gave the room a taste of the talent throughout Toronto.
If you haven’t heard of K.I.D. you probably should look them up. Their fans are loyal, and more noticeably in love with the band. You see it as soon as they take the stage that they’ve filled with quirky charms like ironing boards and Fruitloops.
Wolf Alice, Whitehorse, and Coleman Hell will be playing in this year’s Edge Jingle Bell Concert Series..and that’s just the beginning. Christmas can sure as hell come early if it means these names are coming to the city. Starting on November 21st Cario will kick off the series of shows, at MOD Club. The events will take place at various venues throughout the city like Adelaide Hall, The Phoenix, and Lee’s Palace. Taking place from November to December 17th, the shows will feature a discovery series featuring some local acts, like Blue Sky Miners.
