Don’t fret about fall the festivals are hardly coming to an end. Just announced, July Talk will be headlining Koi Fest in Kitchener. Taking the stage on Friday, September 25th the Toronto natives will join the hefty line up, to include Gay Ninties, Fast Romantics, and illScarlett. The Trews will be kicking off KOI fest on the 24th at Maxwell’s Concerts and Events. The three-day concert-series from Sept 24th to 27th will feature local artists mixed in with big names to turn a spotlight on undiscovered Kitchener and Waterloo-based talent. — Thanks to the Koi Battle, beginning in July, local bands will be competing in the city for a chance to perform on the main stage as part of the closing show on Sunday. Closing performers have yet to be announced, the full lineup will be unleashed in August.
