Extending his tour an extra three weeks, The Tallest Man on Earth will be coming to Massey Hall. To play in September, TMOE promises a new addition to his show. The performer will be adding a full band to support the daunting vocals, layered instruments and hauntingly capturing sound of his latest album, Dark Bird Is Home. Known for sounding outside of genres, TMOE plays with tones and scaly vocals to add to his raspy voice. Aside from a small bit of country twang embedded into the fourth album, it’s clear that you don’t rely on placing a particular sound when listening to the album, you think of things, memories, and scenes. Oak trees whistling in a lowly forest, a roaring fire in the middle of the woods, there is a sense of solidarity to the album, a direct confession of a new man perched in the purest nature.
