Two years after their personal triumph album Born Ruffians are back, and they’re all grown up.  Forget Me, is the second track released from their upcoming album, but has the same somber beauty as their initial release “Love Too Soon”. The videos are a mini series directed by Leah Fay Goldstein and Peter Dreimanis of July Talk. The videos are a drastic change from their normally gritty, rowdy indie rock. It’t clear the 2018 album will be a huge change for the band. With the two singles it seems clearly they’re changing their rambunctious quirky rock for a, dare I say, beautiful new sound free of all their ironic charm. But don’t fret, the new direction seems to be going well for the band’s new tone.
